Andrei Vladovich Fatanov

Born in Kansk, 14 April 1913. Fourth character I made.

He came from artist family (both parents are ballerinas in a small theatre), but his father already died from TBC when his mother still pregnant of him. Andrei's live mostly spent at theatre while watching his mother and other female ballerinas take turns in taking care of him. But note that he doesn't have father figure around him, even from the distant director.

Eventually he become male ballerina too. He joined the ballet school, become talented ones, and he got recommended by the theatre to work at Alexandrov Ensemble around 1931 as promotion "Our pupil is now working in prestige ensemble! study here to become fellow prodigy!"

Andrei's life is changed immediately: for the first time, he experienced a heavier dynamic with male-dominated field. Andrei usually been normal when at school and meet both men and women... but he realised he is somewhat too effeminate when entering the ensemble. Despite the ensemble members (include this original characters) are treating Andrei normally like friendly colleague.... because hey, ballet world indeed famous for its delicacy.

Andrei is navigating his life since that. He did get girlfriend fast around 1933; a fan of the ensemble who frequently visits. But at 1936, Andrei's mother died in accident (fallen prop stage onto her while doing rehearsal). Andrei was still performing with the ensemble at Balkan area, and receiving the news very late when he went back to Moscow. This devastated Andrei, sobbing uncontrollably and had long grief, and his girlfriend left him immediately because seeing Andrei being "crybaby and weak" just for crying.

And from that time... slowly the ensemble become both his shelter and curse as someone start taking advantage of his grief further...
