Born in Zubtsov, 17 May 1907. First minor character I made.
Yeah, he shared similar surname like that popular public figure, and he will be pissed to be reminded/teased by coworkers (I hope it's normal to unluckily having same surname). He has father, mother, grandmother and aunt from mother's side, as well other 2 younger brothers.
Actually the parents are kind. His two younger brothers are not fuss. But oh boy, the grandmother and aunt is vile. The aunt is sort of the golden child and spoilt in the small village house, so the grandmother put the burden on the other sibling, which is Fyodor's mother.
Fyodor's father doesn't have second home since he himself is very poor and only work as flax factory worker just like the wife. Alas, Fyodor's father work too hard in order seeking small communal... and the unrest in later years made the father struck with mild stroke till cannot continue the job.
Therefore, Fyodor had to replace the position as tailor in fabric factory in just 7 years old. and this made him immediately develop myopia fast, at least per 20 years old, he already had minus 7. The younger brothers are somewhat neglected too by the grandmother and aunt, causing them already become too mature despite still 5 and 4 years old (meanwhile Fyodor is 7 years old, by the way).
Sadly, it means Fyodor can only attend elementary school level till 10 years old. His dream to become athlete shattered when his minus eyes developed and he is forbade to go by the grandmother and aunt. What Fyodor's mother do? She is mostly silent and can only patting Fyodor and other children in private. His mother also had trauma bonded and conflicted, because the one who abuse the family is still in same blood.
Till one day around 1928, Fyodor and the siblings pretend to dump his sickly father somewhere remote as per grandmother's order, but actually Fyodor make it as chance to run away with saved money and packed stuff. They travel to Moscow by train, become homeless for some months in 1930... until Fyodor dared himself to apply in Alexandrov Ensemble out of desperation. He is accepted as bass chorist at Autumn 1930, since his voice is good enough and can be improved.
And that's how he got facility of communal, where he can put his father and siblings there. Thanks to his hardwork, he is able to take music school to improve his skill, helping the siblings to get the proper job than just lowly factory worker, and using the health benefit to cure the father. Magically the father is healed at 1931, and the father promised to also convince and bring the mother, then cutting the contact with the vile family member. The father then working as factory worker again, but at least better payment since it's located in Moscow.
Although of course the process isn't that easy. The mother instead brought the grandmother and aunt too to the apartment in the name "Like it or not, they are still the family". This stressed Fyodor further.
And during those years inbetween 1931-1940, Fyodor is more focusing on family until he isn't the type who fooling around among the chorists. He prefer buy many types of newspaper and cigarette pack, then he smoke alone while reading all of newspaper as his daily activity. He is somewhat cynical and pragmatist at the same time.
