Ivan Nikolaevich Koshchin

Born in Novonikolayevsk (Novosibirisk), 6 September 1913. Seventh character I made.

He is from a happy family as only child, and have 2 dogs. he pursue school and music school normally, graduated as percussionist major, and he quickly married with a young woman when he was just 18 years old. He also already had 2 children by 1932 and 1933. Well, from surface, he doesn't have any major trauma as a child.

However, his struggle is related to marriage. The wife is easily jealous with Ivan's activity at Philharmonic. And the jealousy worsen when Ivan joined the ensemble as percussionist (around 1933). The wife always had anxiety that Ivan would cheat from him over fans/female ballerina in ballet section/literally any women. No matter Ivan is truly devoted and even trying his best not to interact with woman other than his wife, and try to manage his schedule to taking care the sons. Sometimes when he is too overwhelmed, the argument can happens. and Ivan always run away to the bar and almost become alcoholic. And this worsen the marriage. 

All colleagues in the ensemble sympathize with him, considering Ivan's wife sometimes make a scene until had to be mediated by other colleagues. It's quite an irony because Ivan is known by the ensemble members as sweet guy with fair face and warm smile. And Ivan was a talented percussionist despite had 155cm height.

His closest friend is Semyon who understood marriage life among single guys. And Semyon kept advising Ivan not to easily running away to bar, and just try to only sleep at separate room.

And for now, Ivan insist to stayed in the ensemble. Not only because he find solace in work. But also because he still need to providing his family, and the ensemble so far giving stable income than going back to Philharmonic or any places...
