Born in Izhma (Sosnogorsk) in 13 January. Fifth character I've made.
In the ensemble, he mentioned his birthdate is 1906, but his actual birthdate is 1719. he used to be a noble who had some magic power related to wind. And he lived quite long, seeing the rise and fall of the empire, together with his button accordion. He had numbers of lovers too across the centuries. He only finally retired from the cruel wizardry field, and settled in marriage at 1919 with a young woman named Veronika. They lived happily until 1928, that unfortunately ended because Veronika died during childbirth. Semyon becomes the single parent for the first time.
Even if he has hidden savings and can taking care of his daughter, Semyon realised in Soviet times, an unemployed father who can provide the daughter would be suspicious. so Semyon seek opportunity for his coverage. Therefore, when Alexandrov Ensemble opened vacancy for accordionists in 1929, Semyon immediately signed up, and accepted for his exceptional skill. Well, talking about has been a player since centuries.
So, he used his remaining magic to create the replica of himself. The replica is the one who interact in the ensemble, and Semyon will always access the new memories and information everytime the replica goes home. maybe in this modern world, it's similar like controling robot/drones from far away and store its memory after done. Semyon did this because he wants to be present father for his daughter. Besides he only finally stop using his replica magic, when his daughter entered school and independent enough. So... maybe when the daughter is around 7 years old.
In front of ensemble members, he is acting like an silly chubby redhead who believes in horoscope and "Today we are aligned with Mercury retrograde". Some finding him weird, some finding him fascinating, but mostly everyone is had neutral friendship. He is quite close with Ivan as usually accordionist sitting nearby the percussionist. And Semyon who has seen many human pattern, deciding to help Ivan's trouble.
But so far, his life is also normal. or half normal-half magic. Maybe... half normal because Semyon is too devoted for his late wife, until not want to settle for anyone anymore. He planned to grow old and died in old age normally.
And at least, the ensemble become his 'retirement place' after living for a long time.
