Renounce Prose

There was a wooden house in the village near the river.

Inside this house lived a father, a mother and a boy.

The father is a fisherman who work behind the house.

The mother is a mute, so she must brought a board and chalk to talk.

The boy still loved them no matter what. 

Until one day a war struck in that village.

The father chosen to be partisan and leave the family with a bullet wound on his chest.

The village also suffered by famine.

The mother and the boy flee from their home to find any luck.

Years later, they finally found a new home and new kind neighbor to help them.

But the luck won't last long, as the mother had strange illness.

The boy worried and sought help, to no avail.

And the mother died in her illness, leaving him with the neighbor.

The neighbor do loved him, but he doesn't trust them.

"Everyone I loved dies unnaturally. I'll just hurt others. I'm destined to be alone"

The boy lived alone on his communal and being independent, despite the neighbor worrying him.

The boy renounced having to accept any love around him.

There was a stone house among the wooden houses.

Inside this stone house lived a father, a mother, a boy, and the boy's sister.

The boy's path determined by the parents to become a priest like the grandfather.

While the sister's path determined by the parents to be suffered because of her birth isn't wanted.

The boy felt responsible too for his sister, and his good grandfather help him to soothe the sister.

So every afternoon, the boy will snuck out from cathedral to play with the sister.

So she still knew someone loved her.

Until one day they were found out by parenys and the mother gave birth another brother.

The father felt mad and cancelled the boy's path to become a priest.

The cathedral choose the newborn baby, and plan to raise by themself.

The father told the mother, "He is same useless like the girl. Treat him like the girl too!"

And the mother obeyed, she torture him with many abusing words and physical torture.

The boy whispered, "Where's the love word that you all said to me before? Was it all fake?"

As he mumbled to himself, someone hug him from behind and hummed a soothing song.

The boy felt comfortable as the person said, "Don't be sad, I'll be the one who fix this", and he went asleep.

The boy renounced having to face up to himself.

There was a mansion in a city.
Inside this mansion lived a father, a mother, a boy, and the boy's siblings
The boy's birth was unwanted along with his little brother because the father wants a daughter.
The mother and the older brother protect them, although it won't stop the father from verbal abuse.
Until one day, the purge of nobles happened.
The family's mansion burned into ashes, the surviving ones hiding in the dacha.
But the boy and the little brother grew hatred onto the father.
Instead just leaving them die in fire.
The boy and his family live in needy, cover up their identity.
The older brother cannot stand with this, and he joins the white-coloured army for revenge.
Which later a telegram back to family, telling the corpse never been found.
The father beat up the boy to release his grief.
The boy who hated the father so much decided to run away.
Packed with older brother's favorite musical instrument, he ran away with younger brother.
Leaving the crying father who becomes madder.
The boy renounced having to conceiving anyone's heart.

There was a small wooden house in rural area of a city.
Inside this house lived a mother, a boy, and the boy's two sisters. The father passed away when he was born.
They lives in very needy, but they do their best to put up with hunger.
Because they have debt to a landlord, they collect money to pay them.
Until one day the landlord hunted by red factions, decided to took one of the sisters.
He falsely promised to bring it back as long the eldest sister work in The Country of Enlightenment.
But he also order his subordinates to persuade the boy to use drugs.
And the boy who don't know anything, became drug addict and the family suffer more.
The boy learned the truth years later, but too late to save his sister.
The sister died in agony, waiting for many years to be saved.
The boy try to found the landlord and killed him secretly.
And bring back the sister's necklace to be buried properly.
The mother and the sister felt more calm after the funeral and the landlord's missing.
But the boy still felt guilty for not telling about he killed the landlord.
And one day, he said to himself, "I didn't kill him. I just give him sharp lesson not to mess with us".
The boy renounced having to acknowledge anything.
